October Oasis Mobile Home Park Community Meeting Scheduled Thursday

OASIS – Riverside County will hold the next Oasis Mobile Home Park community update meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, October 27 at Oasis Elementary School, located at 88-175 74th Avenue, Oasis, CA  92274.

The meeting will cover the latest developments to assist residents of Oasis Mobile Home Park including a recent grant by the State Water Resources Control Board to continue the county’s distribution of bottled water, a new mobile health clinic funded by the Desert Healthcare District, and an update on plans to create new housing that can provide options for relocation.

The meeting will be conducted in Spanish.

Last week, Riverside County Housing and Workforce Solutions Department staff distributed flyers for this meeting to homes at Oasis Mobile Home Park. The TODEC Legal Center, the county’s partner on the ground, also informed residents by text message about the upcoming meeting.

Thursday’s meeting is one of the monthly community update meetings that Supervisor V. Manuel Perez requested the county housing division hold to keep efforts moving and update residents of Oasis Mobile Home Park on progress and housing options for relocation.
