Enhancing Neighborhood Pride

THOUSAND PALMS, CA - The Thousand Palms Community will be hosting a Community Cleanup for Thousand Palms residents on January 20th from 8:00am-noon meant to enhance neighborhood pride and beautify the community. The event is sponsored by the Indian Gaming Special Distribution Fund, Costco, and Supervisor Roy Wilson.

“Community clean-ups are a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together to improve their community and have fun while doing it” said Supervisor Wilson.

Volunteers will be cleaning-up a portion of Ramon Road. A rubbish drop-off site will be located at Della S. Lindley Elementary School on Robert Road. Household waste can be disposed of at this location, but hazardous waste and tires will not be accepted.
