4th District Youth Advisory Council Helps Recovery Event
DISTRICT 4TH - When the 1st Annual Celebrate Recovery in the Desert event kicks off this Saturday, September 29 at Palm Desert Civic Center Park, they’ll have the backing of more than two dozen businesses and non-profit agencies, and the Youth Advisory Council of Riverside County’s Fourth District will be there to lend a helping hand, as well.
Students from “YAC” will be passing out goodies and will be “cheerleaders” for the people participating in the event.
YAC membership for this school year is comprised of the following students, although YAC Coordinator Noel Loughrin says she expects more students to join the youth group during the school year:
