Miss California Appears at Miss Blythe Pageant
It’s a long way from Blythe, California to Atlantic City, New Jersey . . . but it’s not impossible to get there. And a Blythe visit by Miss California 2007, Melissa Chaty, may make it seem a large step closer. On Saturday, Oct. 6, the reigning Miss California—herself a contestant in the Miss America Pageant next January—will grace the local competition with her presence. Also on hand, of course, is the outgoing Miss Blythe, Brianne Owens, who also competed in the Miss California Pageant this summer in Fresno. The Miss Blythe Pageant gets under way at 7 p.m. at the Palo Verde High School cafeteria.
