County offers free e-alerts and other information

With fires still smoldering in Southern California and Santa Ana winds on the horizon, Riverside County debuted an Internet-based tool today that sends email alerts about emergencies, as well a host of other information about county operations. And Fourth District residents, while spared the fury of the recent fires and winds, need to remain vigilant since earthquakes, flooding and other unforeseen events can as easily strike the east side of the Pass.
