‘TOM’ Site Dates Announced for 2008
The Southern Coachella Valley Community Services District, which covers the communities of Mecca, Thermal, Oasis and Vista Santa Rosa has announced the dates that its collection center “ T.O.M.” site will be open. These are Saturday opportunities to haul bulky items to the collection site at Highway 111 and Avenue 63.

Items NOT accepted include paint, oil, insecticides, tires, motors/engines, household waste or food. They WILL accept appliances, tree trimmings, swamp coolers, furniture, mattresses and scrap metal. Proof of residency (driver’s license or utility bill) is required. Sponsored by the SCVCSD, Supervisor Roy Wilson, County Waste Management Department, Burrtec Industries and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
