'Job Connection' Coming up at Workforce Development Center
INDIO - Need a job, want a better paying job or looking for a new employee?
If you answered yes to any of those questions then you should attend the next "Job Connection" at the Riverside County Workforce Development Center in Indio on Monday, January 14, from 12:20-3:30 PM.
Sponsored by the Riverside County Economic Development Agency in partnership with its Workforce Development Center partners, the "Job Connection" is expected to draw 300 job seekers and over a dozen employers to the Indio- based center.
Assistant County Executive Officer /EDA Robin Zimpfer said," Our "Job Connection" program is a great opportunity for Coachella Valley residents to look for a new job, find a job that pays more money and offers better benefits, and the best opportunity to meet with companies and organizations looking for new employees."
Companies or organizations that have already committed to attending the "Job Connection" are; Home Depot, La Quinta Resort, Agua Caliente Casino, Sunline Transit Agency, Fantasy Springs Casino, SMG Palm Springs Convention, County of Riverside, State of California, and Augustine Casino. More employers are expected to join "Job Connection" in the days ahead.
