Bermuda Dunes Cleanup Set For Saturday, Feb. 23
Bermuda Dunes residents will be doing some spring cleaning a bit early, as the curbside cleanup is scheduled for the community on Saturday, Feb. 23.
All items must be at the curb by 6 a.m. on the 23 rd, and residents who want to participate must call Burrtec (340-2113) no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. Only residents who make an appointment will receive this service.
Residents will be able to get rid of old appliances or furniture. However, tires, paint, automotive-type batteries, chemicals and engines will not be accepted.
The types of materials not accepted during this event are covered by either a ABOP (antifreeze, batteries, oil and paint) event, or by a more comprehensive Household Hazardous Waste Event.
