"Most Wanted" Fugitive on the Lam Since 1999
This week's Riverside County "Most Wanted" fugitive is accused of murdering a "friend" in front of the friend's wife and children.
According to a news release issued by District Attorney Rod Pacheco and Sheriff Stan Sniff, Alfredo Morales Rosas was living in the home of a Cathedral City chef.
"Seemingly unemployed but always carrying cash, Rosas was suspected of dealing drugs," the news release says. "One evening, Rosas engaged in an argument with his friend at the home. After the argument subsided, Rosas fatally shot the victim several times in front of the victim's wife and children.
"Rosas fled the scene and has avoided apprehension."
Morales-Rosas is described as being 5'4" tall, and weighing 145 pounds. He's 51 years of age.
