Blythe Chamber Reveals 'Recognition Day' Honorees List
The list of honorees for this year's Community Recognition Day in Blythe has been set. Here are the outstanding residents who will be honored during the event:
Business of year, Desert Air Ambulance
Member of the Year, Dobbs TV and Appliance and Flooring
Volunteer of the Year, Blythe Little League
Director of Year, Sam Patel
50 years of Business, Johnson Electric
Citizen of the Year, Waymen Dekens
Past President plaque, Millie Rodriguez
During the festivities, The Rotary Club will also be honoring as their Teachers of the Month Phyllis Elmore, Vicky Alexander, Rachel Angel, Barbara Delaney, Starlene Avery, Marty Nortrip, and Ann Owens.
Many more individuals and groups will be recognized for their contributions to the Palo Verde Valley's quality of life.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday April 23 at the Community Center, 455 N Broadway. Spaghetti dinner from 5 to 6pm. Awards at 6pm. Dress is casual:
