Redevelopment Talk in Oasis and North Shore

Fourth District Supervisor Roy Wilson and the Riverside County Economic Development Agency are inviting residents of Oasis, 100 Palms and North Shore to attend meetings which will explore the idea of expanding Redevelopment Project Areas into their communities.

Why "redevelopment"?

A Redevelopment Area can help homeowners fix up their homes. It can assist renters in becoming homeowners. It can help businesses modernize and expand. It can help to create more shopping opportunities, roads, community centers, parks, fire stations and other community amenities.

The public is invited to attend, to listen to the explanation of Redevelopment, to ask questions, and to provide input as to what their communities need.

The Oasis and 100 Palms area meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 6 at 6 p.m. at the Oasis Elementary School (88-675 76th Avenue), and the North Shore meeting will be held Monday, May 19 at 6 p.m. at the North Shore Community Center (99-085 Corvina Drive).
