Marine Corps Band Plans "Salute to America"
Memorial Day approaches, and the Marine Corps Combat Center Band is ready to pay tribute to the men and women who have sacrificed their lives defending their country.
And once again, the City of Palm Springs will host the Marines in a "Salute to America" holiday concert on May 22 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
The event is free, but you have to pick up a ticket at City hall or at the Sunrise Park Leisure Center. And, you're asked to bring canned food to the concert which will later be donated to the food bank F.I.N.D. (Food In Need of Distribution).
