Coachella Valley Workforce Housing Summit on Tap
“The Economics of Housing Our Workers” is the theme of the 2008 Coachella Valley Workforce Housing Summit coming up on June 19.
The unveiling of a regional plan, uniting local businesses, lenders, local government and housing agencies is the focus of the Summit, which will address the impact of the housing market on the working population of the Coachella Valley.
An analysis of up-to-date housing data will be introduced, and a panel of local business leaders and housing experts will provide their perspectives on the housing market and proposed plan.
The venue for the event is the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa, located at Bob Hope Drive and Ramon Road in Rancho Mirage. The session runs from 9 a.m. till 3:30 p.m., and lunch is included in the $60 early-bird registration fee. After June 13th, the fee is $75 per person. The fee is waived for elected officials.
