Coachella Valley Workforce Housing Summit June 19
Area leaders will unveil a regional plan uniting local businesses, lenders, government and housing agencies to address the impact of the housing market on the working population of the Coachella Valley.
"The Economics of Housing Our Workers" is the theme of the 2008 Coachella Valley Workforce Housing Summit at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage.
An analysis of up to date housing data will be introduced, and a panel of local business leaders and housing experts will provide their perspectives on the housing market and proposed plan.
Registration fee for the 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. event is $60 per person prior to this Friday, June 13. After that, and at the door, the fee will be $75 per person. The fee is waived for elected officials.
