Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade Designates New Area for Seniors

The Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade, Sunday, Oct. 26, is offering a new Senior VIP Area and it’s free--for the first 35 people who reserve a seat (2 seats can be reserved per name). Seniors 63 and over will be treated to VIP shaded seating along with soft drinks, snacks, Mardi Gras beads and more.

The special shaded senior seating at the Parade comes courtesy of Presenting Parade Sponsor, The Auen Foundation, and Sponsored by Eisenhower Medial Center.

Those VIP Seniors wishing special VIP parking passes may obtain it from the Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce. This special viewing area will be located at the corner of El Paseo and San Pablo, with VIP parking in back of Starbucks for an easy walk to the viewing area.

Volunteers will be on duty to assist those in need and the Palm Desert EMT’s will be located in that area for extra safety. The parade starts at 1p.m., and is expected to have 100 colorful entries. For more information and to reserve your spot call the Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce at 346-6111.  Seats are limited, so call now.

Volunteers for the area are the members of the Palm Desert Youth Advisory Council and Palm Desert High School Key Club.
