Probation Department Puts ‘Cuffs on Cancer’
The Riverside County Probation Department’s Desert Division is announcing a fund-raising opportunity for the American Cancer Society.
The Desert Division has a relay team, "Cuffs on Cancer" that is participating in the Relay For Life that will take place on Nov. 1and 2 at La Quinta High School. The purpose of the Relay is to raise awareness in the fight against cancer and also to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
"Cuffs on Cancer" is having a silent auction with prizes including a round of golf for
four. The Country Clubs involved include Trilogy, Heritage Palms, Cimarron, and
Woodhaven. Each foursome of golf will be handled as a separate auction.
Bidding for each auction will start at $100 and will conclude on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 4 p.m.
