Local Veterans Groups Benefit from Sun City Concert

“Saluting Our Veterans,” a concert benefiting local veterans organizations is set for this Veterans Day, Tuesday November 11 at Sun City Palm Desert. The concert is open to the public.

Headlining the annual event will be the Night Blooming Jazzmen and comedian Bobby Kelton.

Over the years, ticket sales for these events have provided more than $20,000 to the American Red Cross and Armed Services YMCA of 29 Palms, the Disabled American Veterans, the Injured Marines Semper Fi Fund, Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Palm Springs USO, Support Our Soldiers, U.S. Army 4th Division Association, Veterans Administration Loma Linda Hospital, and V.A. Palm Desert Clinic.

The concert takes place in the Mountain View Clubhouse, with two show times 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. All seats are reserved, with a $25 donation. Make checks payable to the Sun City Palm Desert Veterans Club, 78731 Iron Bark Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92211, or deposit in the Veterans Club Box #19 in the Mountain View Clubhouse.
