The Date Festival is Here—and Early Birds Get in for Free
The big event is finally here: Friday, Feb. 13 marks the beginning of the 10-day run for the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival.
On this day, the Fair and Fest is giving back to the community by providing free admission to everyone for the first 4 hours the Fair is open. From 10 a.m. -2p.m. all Fairgoers will be able to walk through the gates at no cost.
Take advantage of this 4-hour window and stay all day to indulge in traditional Fair favorites such as: deep fried Twinkies, Indian Fry bread, carnival rides, exhibits and those crazy camel and ostrich races.
The 63rd Annual Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival is presented by Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, the desert’s leader in gaming and entertainment.
The Fair, in beautiful downtown Indio, runs Feb. 13-22, with gates opening at 10 a.m. and closing at 10 p.m.
General admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $6 for group bus tours, $6 for youth, and free for children under 5. For more information, call 1.800.811.FAIR, or visit www.datefest.org , where you can click and print your Fair tickets at home.
