Plenty of Date Fest Left; Weatherman Promises to Clean Up His Act
The weatherman is predicting a much more pleasant final six days of the 63 rd Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival.
With highs in the 70s and even low 80s and no precipitation, this is the kind of weather desert residents have come to expect for one of the County’s top entertainment events of the year.
Your admission this weekend includes free entertainment including the Gin Blossoms and Super Fiesta with Banda Pachuco and Rosenda Bernal.
And this year, the Fest and Fair even has its own Stimulus Package: Kids Day on Wednesday means one free child per paid adult. Altura Day means you can flash your Altura Credit Union Bank card for free admission. Fantasy $5 Friday on Feb. 20 means $5 admission all day. And military personnel with valid ID get in free.
The Fair runs through Sunday, 10 till 10 daily, with midway carnival open till midnight Friday and Saturday.
