Thousand Palms CC Set Thursday; Community Cleanup this Saturday

The Thousand Palms Community Council will meet Thursday night at 6:15, and the advisory group to Supervisor Roy Wilson will consider a number of issues important to the community.

In addition, a community cleanup will be held from 8 a.m. till noon at the elementary school on Robert Road. Residents have the option of curbside pickup of bulky items, if they contact Burrtec by 5 p.m. Thursday.

At Thursday’s Council meeting, the panel will discuss a workforce housing project for north of the Community Center. That project has been outlined at a previous community council meeting.

The council will also here several reports on a recent code enforcement town hall meeting and other subjects.

The meeting gets under way at 6:15 at the community center on North Robert Road, and is expected to wrap up by 7:30.
