National Crime Victims Week Features Candlelight Vigils
National Crime Victims week, sponsored regionally by the Riverside District Attorney’s Office, runs April 27 through May 1, and it features a Victims’ Rights March in downtown Riverside and three candlelight vigils—one of them in Palm Desert Civic Park.
The 3 rd Annual week-long series of events features thousands of crime victims, law enforcement and elected officials who remember victims lost to violent crimes.
The Riverside March begins at 11:30 a.m. at the County Administration building at 4080 Lemon Street (corner of 10 th and Lemon) and proceeds to the Riverside County Historic Court House at 4050 Main Street.
The candlelight vigils take place at 7 p.m. Monday in Temecula, Tuesday in Palm Desert and Wednesday in Riverside.
There will be a Victims’ Rights Luncheon on Friday, May 1, and the Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona.
