Supervisor Roy Wilson is looking for a few good volunteers
With hundreds of councils, committees and commissions across Supervisor Wilson’s sprawling Fourth District, there is always a need for volunteers to fill vacancies. Among the volunteer panels: councils, commissions and boards dealing with a variety of distinct issues such as: airport land use, aging, children and families, mosquito abatement, mental health, cemeteries, agriculture, animal services, libraries, housing, history, flood control, trails and veterans. And more.
In addition, there are numerous County Service Areas, which provide specified services to unincorporated areas; and Community Councils, which advise Supervisor Wilson of the needs of the unincorporated communities in the desert.
