Eastbound on I-10 Toward Blythe? Better Head Out Early
Construction continues to repair pavement and overlay new asphalt on a 14-mile stretch of Interstate 10 (I-10) near Coachella in Riverside County. Motorists should be aware that an additional half hour to 45 minutes will be required to make it through the construction zone.
Lanes are being closed as needed within the dates and times shown below. Lane closures will be alternated as work is completed. One lane will be open at all times—but there will probably be a few miles of walking-speed traffic.

Please follow all advisory signs and SLOW FOR THE CONE ZONE. The California Highway Patrol will be enforcing reduced speed limits in the construction zone.Construction is expected to end before the July 4th weekend. This “Alert” will be updated if there are any changes.
