Free Shredding and E-Waste Collection For Rancho Mirage Residents
As part of the City’s ongoing recycling efforts and to help residents dispose of sensitive documents safely and securely, Rancho Mirage will host a free shredding and e-waste collection event for residents on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the City Hall parking lot, 69-825 Highway 111, near Frank Sinatra Drive.
Shredding and e-waste collection will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. There is no need to remove staples, clips or binders. All documents will be shredded onsite and then recycled. The event is free and open to Rancho Mirage residents only and proof of residency will be required.
Document shredding limit per resident is five 12’’ x 17" x 9" boxes of documents (normal file box size). E-Waste (electronic components) such as old televisions, computers, cell phones, printers, and facsimile machines will also be collected and recycled free.
