‘Art in the Dunes’ Festival Set for Nov. 21-22 in Bermuda Dunes
The Community of Bermuda Duneswill host its First Fall Festival, Art in the Dunes.
The theme of this inaugural festival is “It just doesn’t get any better.”
The Vintage Nursery on Darby Road in Bermuda Dunes is truly a magnificent venue to showcase the more than 100 highly skilled artisans, craftsman, food vendors and musicians.
Monies collected will be donated to support art endeavors for the children of Bermuda Dunes.
Other activities include: a vintage car show, live animals from the Living Desert, Cabot’s Pueblo Museum and their highly-skilled instructors who will provide a firsthand glimpse into the wonderful world of art. We will also feature some dynamite music; including Champion harmonica player, Hurricane David, strolling musicians, bands, local talent, hot air balloon display, local children singing Christmas carols and much, much more.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS for November 21-22 for this special event, which is expected to bring two to three thousand visitors to Bermuda Dunes.
This year’s Festival poster was created by Jone’ Dupre’, a desert resident who has been creating multi-media in the area for many years. Her poster art will be available in posters and t-shirts through the website and at the Festival. Check the website http://bdcommun.com/ART_IN_THE_DUNES.html for details.
