Supervisor Benoit To Speak At Community Gatherings This Week
PALM DESERT – Riverside County Supervisor John J. Benoit will be speaking at the Thousand Palms Chamber of Commerce luncheon Wednesday, February 24 at 12:00 PM at Shenandoah Springs' Tri Palms Clubhouse (32-610 Desert Moon Drive) and will be hosting a community coffee with the Coachella Chamber of Commerce at 8:00 AM Thursday, February 25 at the Starbucks at Jackson Square (83-073 Avenue 48 C-1).
"Thursday’s meet and greet coffee is free and open to the public and I look forward to meeting many folks from the Eastern Coachella Valley," said Fourth District Supervisor John J. Benoit.
Supervisor Benoit will make an additional visit to Thousand Palms on Thursday, February 25, where he will address the Thousand Palms Community Council at their 6:00 PM meeting at the Community Center (31-497 Robert Road).
Seating is limited at Wednesday’s luncheon, which costs $10, and reservations are being accepted through the Thousand Palms Chamber of Commerce, (760) 333-1836.
Supervisor John J. Benoit represents the Fourth District on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. Stretching from the Palm Springs area south to the Salton Sea and east to the Colorado River, it is the largest geographical district in the county.
Please note: Supervisor Benoit’s Office will be closed every Friday through June 30, 2010 per order of the Board of Supervisors on 7/21/2009. Benoit’s regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
