Supervisor Benoit Announces Internship Opportunities
PALM DESERT – Supervisor John J. Benoit is seeking full-time college students interested in pursuing challenging, real-life opportunities to serve the citizens of the Fourth Supervisorial District as volunteer interns in his Palm Desert Office.
'Throughout my legislative career, I benefited from the dedicated efforts of students who have developed a hands-on experience in government administration,' said Fourth District Supervisor John J. Benoit. "I hope to continue providing this experience to young people, through my new role as County Supervisor.'
Some of the intern responsibilities include: correspondence; constituent casework, developing problem-solving skills while learning the operations of various county departments; and fieldwork, opportunities to represent Supervisor Benoit in the district. The internships are unpaid, however, students may receive class credit depending on their educational institution.
Prospective interns should email a resume to Jennifer Racadio at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Supervisor John J. Benoit represents the Fourth District on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. Stretching from the Palm Springs area south to the Salton Sea and east to the Colorado River, it is the largest geographical district in the county.
