Supervisor Benoit To Host Next Scam Stopper Seminar Friday In Palm Springs
PALM SPRINGS– Riverside County Supervisor John J. Benoit will host his next Scam Stopper Seminar, with presentations from the Palm Springs Police Department, Riverside County Curtailing Abuse Related to the Elderly (C.A.R.E.) Program, and the Department of Consumer Affairs at the Mizell Senior Center (480 South Sunrise Way) on Friday, May 7 at 9:30 AM. A complimentary lunch will be served following the presentation.
“May is Elder Abuse Awareness Month, an opportunity to inform others about the most common criminal attacks upon the elderly. It is an honor to continue this successful series that highlights elder abuse, identity theft, and consumer fraud,” said Fourth District Supervisor John Benoit.
