Supervisor Benoit To Speak At Wednesday’s Palm Springs Rotary Luncheon
PALM SPRINGS – Riverside County Supervisor John J. Benoit will speak before the Palm Springs Rotary Club at their luncheon at 11:45 AM on Wednesday, June 16 at the Agua Bar & Grill at the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs (100 North Indian Canyon Drive).
“It is a pleasure to speak to the membership of the Palm Springs Rotary Club, which has accomplished so much for the desert communities since chartering in 1941,” said Supervisor John J. Benoit. “As a longtime Rotarian, I appreciate their exemplary service which has changed the world by enriching education, combating hunger and global disease, and improving core living conditions.”
As President of the Indio Rotary Club in 1994, Benoit helped found the valley-wide Rotary Math Field Day in the Coachella Valley, an annual tradition where several hundred middle school students compete in mathematical challenges. Last fall, Benoit was awarded his third Paul Harris Fellowship Award for his continued support and membership in the Rotary.
