Benoit Invites Businesses, Residents to Air Quality Briefing Friday

PALM DESERT – Supervisor John J. Benoit invites the business community and Coachella Valley residents to attend an air quality briefing to be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center (75-080 Frank Sinatra Drive), Room B200.

Hosted with the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the free luncheon will highlight small business incentive programs, air quality issues, new low-emission technologies and green economic opportunities.

“As Riverside County’s representative on the South Coast Air Quality Management District, I am pleased to bring this informative event to the community,” said Supervisor John J. Benoit.  “ The air quality board drafts regulations that affect most of Southern California and it is important to listen to feedback from local business owners.”
