Benoit Announces Vacancies on County Boards and Commissions
PALM DESERT – Riverside County Supervisor John J. Benoit is seeking residents interested in serving on county councils, boards and commissions.
There are currently vacancies on each of the following: Bermuda Dunes Community Council, County/City Arroyo-Watershed Committee, Desert Edge Community Council, countywide Mental Health Board, four vacancies on the Mental Health Regional Area Board, three openings on the Thousand Palms Community Council and alternate appointments to the Children & Families Commission (First Five Riverside), County Service Area 104 (Sky Valley) and Solid Waste Management Advisory Council.
“I am looking for dedicated Fourth District residents who are available and willing to share their time and expertise to serve on these boards,” said Supervisor John J. Benoit. “These appointed positions are wonderful opportunities to serve and shape your community.”
The various boards and commissions provide guidance and recommendations for issues ranging from child care and early education to county services in unincorporated areas.
