Economic Development Focus of Friday Rotary Lunch
LA QUINTA – Local economic development, including the Thermal Motorsports Track and Club, redevelopment projects and the county’s efforts to set the standard on solar policy will be the focus of Supervisor John J. Benoit’s presentation before the Rotary Club of La Quinta at their lunch at noon Friday at Cliffhouse Restaurant (78-250 Highway 111).
“The county has a tremendous role as an economic engine in the cities and communities of the Coachella Valley,” said Supervisor John J. Benoit. “As a longtime Rotarian, I always appreciate the opportunity to speak at meetings of these civic-minded professionals.”
Regularly closed for lunch, Cliffhouse Restaurant offers a special lunch service for Friday meetings of the Rotary Club. Guests are welcome to attend and choose a salad or entrée, ranging from $11 to $18, including tea and Kimo’s original Hula pie, the restaurant company’s signature dessert.
