Supervisor Benoit To Dedicate New Bermuda Dunes Community Service Center Thursday
Bermuda Dunes Community Service Center (78-400 Avenue 42) at a ceremony to be held on Thursday, January 14 at 5 PM. Other speakers include: Tom Freeman from the Economic Development Agency, John Boyd, Director of Code Enforcement, Assistant Sheriff Colleen Walker, and Cheryl Isen from the Bermuda Dunes Community Council. After the ceremony, Benoit will be welcomed at a meeting of the Bermuda Dunes Community Council at 6 PM, the first to be held in the new center.
“This community center is a major boost to Bermuda Dunes, a venue to facilitate public meetings and improve community access to county services,” said Fourth District Supervisor John J. Benoit. “As a Bermuda Dunes resident myself, I can say that we are very proud to have this new, beautiful addition to our community.”
The 2,344-square foot building includes office space for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and Code Enforcement, as well as a general community room named in honor of Roy Wilson. The community room will allow for public meetings to be held in Bermuda Dunes.

Supervisor John J. Benoit represents the Fourth District on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. Stretching from the Palm Springs area south to the Salton Sea and east to the Colorado River, it is the largest geographical district in the county.
