Supervisors to Meet Wednesday to Propose Reward in Christopher Dorner Case
RIVERSIDE – Chairman John J. Benoit is convening a special meeting of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to consider offering $100,000 for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of Christopher Dorner.
“We are asking alert citizens to turn in any information about this suspect’s whereabouts before he kills again,” said Supervisor John J. Benoit. “Supervisor John Tavaglione and I are proposing Riverside County make a contribution to the $1 million multi-agency reward that governments and other donors throughout Southern California are providing in hopes of bringing this tragic manhunt to a close.”
Christopher Dorner is the suspect wanted for murdering Monica Quan, Keith Lawrence and Riverside Police Officer Michael Crain and for shooting and wounding police officers from the Riverside and Los Angeles Police departments.

Following the meeting, Benoit will attend funeral services for Officer Crain, scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Grove Community Church in Riverside, 19900 Grove Community Dr.
