State of Riverside County, Featuring Goldenvoice, Set for Sept. 25

PALM SPRINGS: The State of Riverside County annual event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 25 and will feature Goldenvoice, a company that has put eastern Riverside County on the world stage with the production of the Coachella and Stagecoach musical festivals.

Goldenvoice’s senior vice president, Skip Paige, will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon at the Palm Springs Convention Center at 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.

“I am delighted to have Skip Paige share with us the history and background of Goldenvoice and the company’s plans in the Coachella Valley and elsewhere in Riverside County,” said Supervisor John J. Benoit. “You will not want to miss this highly anticipated review and preview of things to come in Riverside County!”

Starting with a business expo at 10 a.m., attendees will have a prime opportunity to network with hundreds of community and business leaders and the entire leadership of Riverside County government.

The luncheon will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. with welcoming remarks by Palm Springs Mayor Pro Tem Chris Mills who will address the tremendous developments happening as part of the host city’s transformation.

Presented by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and Economic Development Agency, this year’s event, “County of Innovation,” will show progress and innovation throughout the county. Videos from each of the five supervisorial districts will present past year accomplishments and visions for the future.

In addition to Paige, Board Chairman Benoit and Jay Orr, the county’s executive officer, will discuss Riverside County’s latest innovative ideas and business initiatives.
