Supervisor Perez’s Community Swearing-In Ceremony Scheduled Thursday
PALM DESERT – Supervisor V. Manuel Perez invites the community to join him at his Fourth District swearing-in ceremony at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 1. The ceremony will be held in Building B at the UCR Palm Desert Center in Palm Desert, 75-080 Frank Sinatra Dr.
“I am humbled and honored to have been granted the opportunity to serve on the Board of Supervisors,” said Supervisor V. Manuel Perez. “Since taking office as the Fourth District Supervisor, I have gone full speed ahead, with my phenomenal team, to serve the constituents of the Coachella and Palo Verde Valleys. My goal is to reach out and work with everyone throughout the Fourth District. Through hard work, great constituent services and good policy, our future is bright. I look forward to the work ahead.”
The community swearing-in ceremony will begin with opening remarks by Desert Hot Springs Councilmember Anayeli Zavala, followed by the presentation of colors, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem and invocation. Supervisor Perez will take the oath of office, administered by Riverside Superior Court Judge Raquel Marquez, and will give remarks.
A reception will be held following the ceremony in the center’s lobby area.
