Supervisor Perez to Attend Gubernatorial Inauguration
SACRAMENTO – Supervisor V. Manuel Perez and his wife, Gladis, will attend the inauguration ceremony for Governor Gavin Newsom on Monday.
“I am excited about the tremendous honor and privilege to witness this special moment in our history,” said Supervisor V. Manuel Perez. “Gov. Newsom has the distinct opportunity to provide dynamic leadership to keep our state moving forward and expand opportunities for all our residents and communities. I am proud to represent the residents of Riverside County at the inauguration. I look forward to working with Gov. Newsom’s administration as his ambassador representing the Inland Empire.”
Newsom will take the oath of office as the 40th Governor of the State of California at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7 on the West Steps of the State Capitol Building.
Supervisor Perez serves as an ambassador for Gov.-elect Newsom’s transition team for the Inland Empire.
