Fourth District Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
The Fourth District Youth Advisory Council (YAC), comprised of student representatives from public and private high schools from Palm Springs to Blythe, identifies youth related concerns and issues within the Fourth District. It also takes on community-enhancing activities which often involve senior citizens. Each of the five county districts appoints one member to serve on the combined County of Riverside Youth Advisory Commission.
On January 6, 1998, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved the formation of a Countywide Youth Commission. The mission of the Riverside County Youth Commission is to serve as a forum for young people to come together and take greater control and responsibility toward improving their lives and well being of all youth in the Riverside County.

Fourth District Coachella Valley meetings will be held the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Fourth District Palo Verde Valley (Blythe) meetings will be held the first Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. ***(Note time change) The first meeting will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 3:30 p.m.***
